EVENT OVERVIEW

Stemming from the producting and electric round table session featured Saturday morning at CFACON25 along with the OSHA 101 education session provided by Tim Neubauer, this month Association members are invited into a discussion of the current state of affairs for fall protection standards.

Executive Director, James Baty, will provide a brief recap of the conversations held during CFACON25 and send participants into discussion group settings for three main questions:

  1. What are the current issues your company faces when training for fall protection?
  2. What is your company's current preference for fall protection?
  3. What would the right environment be for CFA Advocacy and Training of OSHA Inspectors on the nature of industry-wide fall protection practice?

This session will arm you with ideas from your colleagues related to implementation of training, certifying, documenting and providing effective fall protection. It will also provide necessary input for the Association to consider the next layer of industry involvement to advance, teach and defend a truly effective balanced approach to protecting the workforce, and the companies served.
