The U.S. economy confronts challenges on war, trade, finance, demographics, and technology.  The responses to those challenges have much different impacts among industries and among regions.  Focusing on national data alone hides those differences, limiting understanding of current risks and opportunities

This discussion will focus on the markets served by the poured concrete industries.  It will move from a high level to draw connections to regional, state, and local conditions.    It will also cover prospects for the balance of 2026 and 2027.
