This is part 16 of the ACI/CFA Residential Foundation Technician Certification preparatory seminar. The content of this session covers the application details and requirements for the important and essential foundation components in the IRC that are not related to the concrete structure itself. Specifically covered are minimum requirements for drainage systems, dampproofing and waterproofing applications as well as information on ventilation mitigation for radon.
The total course consists of eighteen videos taught by James Baty, CFA Executive Director and principle examiner for this program. The course has been made available to members of the Concrete Foundations Association and was most recently captured during Foundations Academy in the winter of 2021.
