This is part 13 of a fifteen video series taught by Brent Anderson, PE, one of the most reputable design and construction engineers in the foundation industry. The course has been made available to members of the Concrete Foundations Association and was most recently captured during Foundations Academy in the winter of 2021.
Basics of Drainage begins the final chapter of the Foundation Fundamentals coursework. This session focuses on the essential components of a successful drainage system around the perimeter of a foundation. Included are the code references and the ideology of a system design intended to move sub grade water either away from the foundation or into removal systems inside the structure.
